The Days Inn in Port Lavaca is a recently renovated, full service hotel. The hotel is located in Calhoun County, one of the largest peninsulas on the Texas Gulf Coast. We are surrounded by the Lavaca Bay and the Gulf of Mexico to the south and the San Antonio Bay to the west. The pristine waters, coves around the beautiful Matagorda Island, and the natural barrier island between our mainland and the Gulf of Mexico all satisfy the wishes and dreams of naturalists, bird watchers, photographers, fishermen, boaters, and beach-goers alike. Also, the City of Port Lavaca officially opened the newly constructed Lighthouse Beach and Bird Sanctuary Park. The white, sandy beach fronts the world's longest bird watching boardwalk that is constructed entirely of recycled plastics planking. A specially constructed bird watching tower is part of the new park which also includes one of the world's longest fishing piers that runs out in the Lavaca Bay. Directions

Take Hwy 59 south toward Victoria, exit at Ganado, turn onto 172 south for about 30 miles. 172 will hit Hwy 35. Stay on Hwy 35 south for 10 miles. Days Inn will be on the left.

Take Hwy 35 South directly to Port Lavaca.

Take 183 South to Cuero. Turn on 87 south, pass Victoria and keep on the 87 south until it runs into Hwy 35. Turn left (north) and go down 5 miles. The Days Inn will be on the right hand side of Hwy 35 north.

Take 87 south directly. It will pass Victoria. Stay on Hwy 87 south until it runs into Hwy 35. Turn left (north) and go about 3 miles. The Days Inn will be on the right hand side of Hwy 35.

Take Hwy 35 north directly to Port Lavaca. The trip takes about 1.5 hours.

Go south on business 59, about one mile. Go south on Loop 463 and head south. About one mile up, it will meet with Hwy 59. Turn right and take Hwy 59 for about 4 miles and exit on hwy 87 south. Go about 25 miles until you reach Hwy 35-Port Lavaca and turn right. Go north on hwy 35 and the Days Inn will be on the right hand side.
