Note:
"The Sheffield bridge is about four miles southeast of Sheffield
on US290 over the Pecos
River. As is often the case, the bridge approach was fenced off
on both ends necessitating the crossing of a barbed wire fence. Having
several hundred feet from the actual bridge before I could see it,
I became aware of how exposed I was to anyone who might want my transportation
more than I did. I thus made a hasty retreat without any photos of
the sides. " - Barclay
