"I have searched for the Reichmuth Cemetery, located off Evans
Road, here in San Antonio,
for quite some time, and have never found the 2 graves that are supposedly
there.
Here are the details per rootsweb:
Reichmuth
Location: On Evans Rd., go to Gardenridge Products sign, turn right
towards Gardenridge, take left fork. Gate to cemetery is always locked.
If you have owners' permission, go past the locked gate for about
2 blocks and then turn left. Two graves under a large oak tree enclosed
by a wrought iron fence.
Notes: Graves of Wilhelm Reichmuth - Apr 30 1831-Feb 5, 1890 and Helene
Reichmuth - Sep 14, 1838-Dec 12, 1889.
I have followed the "directions" as best as I can, but I have never
found the headstones, the iron fence, or the oak tree. Been in that
area more times than I can count. I have asked everyone in the area.
No one knows the location. After going thru a "locked gate", as described,
there is no way to go "2 blocks". There is nothing but open land,
and more fences, no buildings. Very frustrating as you can imagine.
Maybe someone you know has the correct GPS coordinates, or at the
very least, better directions to this cemetery site. You can always
