"The overpass has a wicked turn going into it and out of it, is extremely
narrow, and before they removed the railroad, was the end of the line for many
a semi trailer !" - Mike

History
on a Pinhead The entry for Collin County’s Fairview (one of
14 communities in Texas that share that name) in the Handbook of Texas doesn’t
mention an early history – just population figures. The entry begins in the “late
1960s” when the town’s population doubled from 175 (1960) to 325 (1970). For the
1990 census, the town reported 1,554 residents, which increased by 2000 to 2,644. |
