History
on a PinheadThis
community has little history available other than the connection to Nussbaumer
Avenue in Dallas
and the namesake of both town and street (Jacob Nussbaumer). Nussbaumer (German
for one who cares for nut trees) was a resident of La Réunion. The town dates
from the 1850s but disappeared from maps in the 1930s. |
