Want to know how much a caffeine addict you are?

Cola & Chocolate

For those who obtain your caffeine fix from the following culinary novelties, there is still time for enlightenment:

A 12 oz Coca-Cola has 46 mg of caffeine. A Coca beverage (8 oz.) gives you a 3-32 mg fix. Milk Chocolate (1 oz.) gives a 1-15 mg fix, and I am not aware of any red-blooded American who would appreciate only 1 oz. of milk chocolate at a time. One oz. of semisweet chocolate (my preference) will supply a 5-35 mg rush.

There is help for cola drinkers and chocolate gobblers. You too can graduate and join the ranks of Javamanity. Pick up the phone and call 1-800-JAVAMAN. There are different self-help packages geared for your individual special needs. They will elevate you to javatry on a heady aroma, and you can specify whether it should be Columbian Hazelnut or Peruvian Coca.

For those who want to shake the coffee habit and if your hand is steady enough for you to type on your keyboard, then try www.javadetox.com. They offer different self-help packages for all of javamanity, whichever level you're on. All proceeds go to the International Tea Growers Association.

Easy to swallow and time-released so you'll think about it later.

Dr. Wong's advice won't make you live longer, but you'll enjoy a lot more of it less. In the 19th Century R.L. Stevenson wrote The Strange Case of Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde. Here for the 21st Century is the Strange Case of Dr. Wong vs. Mr. Coffee.
