on a Pinhead
The area has had little of its history recorded.
No population figures are available but there had been a one-teacher school in
1904. “A number of dwelloings” was reported in 1940 as well as a church, but Mr.
Massey’s visit in 2012 revealed only the cemetery is left.

Note: “While photographing the Packard Cemetery a woman passing by stopped
and asked if I needed any help. She said there had been a school and church nearby
but all evidence of both are now gone.” -
