History in a Pecan Shell

Located between Jasper and Kirbyville on the railroad (the Gulf, Beaumont and Kansas City), there is no information immediately available on the name.

A post office was open for a short period in 1901 and the town's future disappeared as the forests around it were cut in the 1920s.
