Sign Painters
During World War II
My father James
Wilson and the rest of these sign painters "donated" their services
for the war effort. My father was a sign painter for many years 1919
- 1968. Walls Bulletin Boards Trucks. He told me he painted a wall
in the Chicago stock yards advertising Armour meats, the "A' in Armour
was sixty feet high. It was hand drawn or layed out as he would say.
