    Concordia History on a Pinhead

Herman Moerbe and a group of German immigrants transmigrated here around 1911 from Lee and Fayette Counties. Although there was a church and school in existence in the 1930s, no town center developed and over the years the original families either moved back to where they came from or sought a more favorable location. Today a few scattered residences remain.
