History on a Pinhead

Settled in the early 1890s in the area known as Cold Springs, the name Ridge comes from the last syllable of the storekeeper/postmaster's surname (W. D. Aldridge). After 1915 mail was routed from Mullin.

No population figures are available for Mills County's Ridge.
