on a Pinhead This “town” may have been a railroad designation,
although the transportation department has placed a standard green and white signpost
here. Since no history is available, it will be added to our town list in hope
that someone will provide information – at least on the person whom the place
is named after.
Twichell, Texas bears an uncanny resemblance to Bee County’s
town of Tynan.

Note: Seven minutes west of Booker
and six minutes east of Perryton on TX 15. I
suppose Twichell is closer to a town than a ghost town. It has commerce, a few
