"I was going through some old photos and I came across this photograph. I believe my grandfather grew up in Rosebud, his last name is Choat, it might have "e" at the end. He was born in 1897, he was the youngest of thirteen. In the upper right is the picture of his dad. I don't know the boys in the upper left. It maybe his brothers or friends. He said he was part Cherokee. He past away in 1987. You may publish this picture if you wish. It would mean so much to him (Earl). Thanks." - Susan Bashore, Carlsbad, CA.
