History on a Pinhead

Settler and author William Allen is said to have named the town after a character in a book he had written in 1890. Other than the information provided in the postal cover (below) there’s very little history to report. The town melted away in the first few years of the 20th Century. It was left off maps and its population relocated to nearby towns.
