History
on a Pinhead Lone Oak in Caldwell County is marked today by
an inscribed stone in the old Huff Family cemetery. What little information exists
on the town is available in the Luling
city library. The cemetery, which is somewhat difficult to find during the growing
season is best visited in the winter. The larger stones can be seen - about 100
yards from the shoulder of Highway 183. |
