NOTHIN' AT ALL

by David Knape
Them old cow hands
were mighty reserved,
kept to themselves
were seldom heard

If they spoke at all
words were conserved,
actions spoke louder
than any words

Now times have changed
missed are them days,
when character mattered
and men spoke plain

Might learn a thing or two
from those recalled,
say somethin' good
or nothin' at all.
