tumbleweed is just a weed
that has a need to roam,
no other weed has such
a need
to wander far from home
Here's a weed that has to leave
and go off on its own,
to travel down life's highways
chasing something
that's unknown
A little wind will make it spin
and off it quickly
goes,
skippin down them lonely roads
jumping over cotton rows
To
me it seems a special gift
to be so completely free,
to go off on a whim
like that
to wander as you please
And if I were to be a plant
I'd
be a tumbleweed,
it's got the disposition that
fits me to a tee
We
must admire this funny weed
a little like us you know,
Tumbleweeds are
odd indeed
