The Present
Jackson County Courthouse - Edna, TexasDate
- 1954 Architect
- F. Perry Johnson Style - Modern Material - Brick & concrete
Photographer's Note: "This modern building was built to replace
the graceful 1906 Beaux-Arts style courthouse and has all the charm of an abandoned
nursing home. An abundance of flowering trees and bushes have been planted around
this courthouse, possibly in an attempt to hide it from public view. " -
