The Present Terry County Courthouse -
Brownfield, Texas

Date - 1925
Architects - Peters & Haynes
Contractor - J.M. Morgan Const. Co.
Style - Texas Renaissance
Material - Brick and concrete

1951 Addition:

Architect - Carl H. Stautz
Contractor - Walter Droemer
The addition doubled the size of their 1925 building.

"A $3.2 million renovation/restoration that begun in late 2011 was completed by the summer of 2013 and an open house was held on July 26, 2013 to celebrate (which, coincidentally, was the 150th anniversary of the death of Sam Houston.)" - Terry Jeanson

The 1906 Terry County Courthouse
Brownfield, Texas

The 1906 Terry County Courthouse was 40 feet square and 24 feet high and the contracted construction cost was $3800.
