History on a Pinhead
The
town had enough people for a post office in 1889 although no figures are available.
By 1903 the population was still just 17 people and the post office started having
second thoughts. By 1913 the post office closed.
But the absence of direct
mail delivery didn’t deter the populace and after the dust of the Great Depression
settled, Eula had grown to 75 people and three stores. The 1990 and 2000 census
reported 125 residents.

Texas This town
appears to exist because of, or to support a large school complex. There's a couple
of churches this one being Eula Methodist. The store, gas station, is the only
business in town. A building that appears to be an old gym is only a very small
piece of a complex of schoolbuildings. - Mike
