ShellIn the early
1890s a post office opened here and the name submitted was for one Fairlie Webster,
although it’s not clear who this person was. By 1904 the population had reached
248 but the next six decades the count is not available. The figure of 80 residents
has been used from the mid 1960s through 2000. |
