My daughter started with a small wart on the edge of her fingernail. Within six
months she had warts on both sides of her fingernails and on most of her
fingers. The Dr. could not freeze them as this treatment may hurt fingernail
development. The medication prescription was very expensive and needed to be used
everyday to be effective. Needless to say a teenager while trying could not keep
up the routine regularly enough over several months to be effective. She choose
to cover up two of the warts with Band-Aids and followed this routine everyday
because she was embarrassed by the bigger warts. Within about a month every wart
started to shrink and after two months every wart on her hands (at least
fifteen warts) had totally disappeared. It has been almost a year and the warts
have not reappeared.- D Colvin, January 08, 2005
Hand
Warts Removal
I just arrived home from taking my 17 year old son to the doctor about several
warts that he has on the palm of his hand, and to my amazement the doctor
actually wrote a "prescription" that included the use of DUCT-TAPE. We
have applied the treatment now all that's left is the waiting!? Keep you Posted!
