History

oil was discovered three miles south of the town, New Diana was formed
when residents moved there.
Diana had its own school, a store, and a church.
New Diana prospered but in the mid-1960s people started refering to the town as
just plain Diana. By this time another church had been added along with a few
more stores. By 1990 Diana had an estimated population of 200. |
