Replica of the
Statue of Liberty
"Replica of the Statue of Liberty in front of the
Municipal Auditorium, one of six known replicas in Texas (the others being in
Austin, Dallas, Midland, Paris and Port Arthur.) They were erected by the Boy
Scouts of America in the early 1950s and can be found in 39 states and other outlying
U.S. territories.
