The Current
Randall County Courthouse - Canyon,

Note: "The current courthouse is a modern brick and stone
structure erected in 1968 and designed by architects and engineers
Clayton B. Shiver and Russell A. Megert. It is attached to the north
side of the 1908 courthouse.
The 1968 building is set to be demolished once restoration work begins
on the 1908 courthouse.
The Randall County Justice Center is north of town, east of US 87."

Material - Brick
This 1908 brick structure is Randall County's second. It originally
had a tower that was removed in the 1945 remodeling. According to
The Courthousese of Texas by Kelsy and Dyal, an annex was built
in 1957.
The first courthouse was built in 1892. |
