History in a Pecan Shell

Appearing only in the 1960s, incorporation was in the early 1970s. From a population of only 443 for the 1980 census, the community had increased to 865 for 1990 and 1,229 for 2000.

Photographer's Note:
According to the map I have, this town is primarily a long narrow strip down one road with a couple of small side branches. I saw no commercial property of any kind. - Mike Price, January 14, 2008
