    Jim was born in Pottsville, Texas.He graduated from Miles, Tx. H.S. He is the great-great grandson of Capt. John Potts, Founder Of Pottsville, Tx. There have been 7 generations that have lived in Pottsville.

    Lou was born in Dallas, Texas a few years after Jim. Lou graduated from Woodrow Wilson H.S. in Dallas, Tx. and also Rutherford Metropolitan Business School.

    Jim and Lou were married August 25, 1962 in Dallas Texas.

    Jim retired from the U.S. Navy as a Flight Engineering instructor in 1975, from the Texas School System in 1985 and from truck driving in 1996. Jim now spends his time in his shop, yard & greenhouse & on his computer.

    Lou retired after 19 years of School Bus driving in 1996. Lou currently works as a part time checker for Level's Food Store in Hamilton, TX.

    Jim & Lou are both Volunteer Firefighters for Pottsville VFD.

    Jim & Lou both love the quiet life in Pottsville ( Population around 60 ) They also enjoy traveling very much. They have traveled much of the USA but really enjoy traveling Texas.
